She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Mitchell and Ethel Mitchell; and her husband Thomas S. Murphy. She is survived by: her daughters, Billie Knox (Danny Lauderdale) and Virginia Brewer-McGavitt (Clarence McGavitt); and her sisters, Patsy Murrah (Buck Murrah) and Mary Ann Huckaby of Alvarado, TX.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and she also leaves behind step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
