Joyce left this world on November 28, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Arceneaux and Allie V. Arceneaux; her husband Charles "Bubba" LaGrone of Jewett, Texas.; and her son-in-law Larry Huff. She is survived by: her daughters, Mimi Huff of Waxahachie and Keli; her son-in-law Mike McKissick of Pflugerville; her daughter Tami; her son-in-law Rick Schneider of Lake Forest, IL; her son Mark LaGrone of Abilene; her grandchildren, Dylan Mayfield (Jana) of Nemo, Chase McKissick of Pflugerville, Jared Urban of New York, NY, Devan Mayfield (Nicole) of Waxahachie, Megan McKissick (Justin Sandoval) of Austin, Clayton Schneider of Denver, CO and Trevor Schneider of Champaign, IL; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Karis, Lauren Mayfield, Reese and Reagan Valley.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (203 W State St, Groesbeck, TX 76642). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Jewett City Cemetery.
