He was predeceased by: his parents, Euleta Hawkins and Jack Hawkins; and his brother-in-law Jack Stone. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Stone of Groesbeck and Jack; his sister-in-law Susan Hawkins of Dallas; his nieces, Sonya Luechauer (Kirby) of Horseshoe Bay and Anna Hawkins of Portland, Oregon.; his nephew David Stone of Temple; his great-nieces, Ashley Clark (Matt), Zoe Garrison (Caleb) and Shelby Stone; and his great-nephew Zach Luechauer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Methodist Church of Groesbeck or the Groesbeck Ex-Students Association—organizations that honor Tom's lifelong love for his community.
