He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Tomplait and Minnie Effie Tomplait (Crochet); and his sister Dee Lane McBroom. He is survived by: his wife Donna Tomplait; his daughters, Jennifer Hart and Crystal Dubois (Chad); his grandsons, Hunter and Rex Dubois; and his siblings, Renee Hedges (Martin) and Todd Tomplait (Tammy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
