She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Nolan and Fannie Mae Thibodeaux Nolan; her husband Adam Johnson; her children, Janis Newton, Brenda Peveto, Mark Johnson and Bart Johnson; her siblings, Hilman Nolan, Burley Nolan, Nelson Nolan, Audrey Melancon and Sandy Beard; and her grandson Casey Malet.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Jaetzold (Jay) of Port Neches and Michael Johnson of Groves; and her sisters, Shirley Broussard of Scott and Frances Thomas of Elizabeth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
