Gene Venable Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 84, Gene Venable (Groves, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Barbara Venable; his children, Carleen Digiovanni of Groves, Darlene Licatino (Robert) of Bridge City, Karen Venable (Lynn Melancon) of Hemphill and Brent Venable (Elizabeth) of Groves; his grandchildren, Brandon Licatino, Shaun Licatino, Dustin Collins, Lyndsay Moody, Paige Digiovanni, Mallory Wenzler, Chance Venable and Megan Venable; his great grandchildren, Damien Collins, Jeremiah Collins, Jasmine Collins, Aiden Hammond, Gage Hammond and Noah Hammond; his siblings, Lucy Manley and A. B. Venable; his parents, Edwin Joseph and Anna Venable; his siblings, Joe Graham, Newton Graham, James Venable, Obrey Venable and Wilma Beresford; and his son-in-law Randy Digiovanni.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Levingston Funeral Home - Groves (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
