It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay E. Levy (Groves, Texas), who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Moselle Jacobs Levy and John Kutner Levy (Johnny); and his grandparents, Hadassah Sadovsky Jacobs, Jay Jacobs, May and Samuel Kutner Levy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Kissinger Levy; his siblings, Jan Evelyn Levy Pope and Dr. Joel Kutner; his sister-in-law Judith Frumin Levy; his nephew Daniel Kutner Levy; his niece Maureen Ellen Levy Martinez (Jorel O. Martinez); his great-nephew John Levy Martinez; and his cousins, Jeffrey Jay Sherman (Bonnie), Bruce Alan Sherman, Judi Sherman Schwartz (Samuel), Amy Weiner Jacobson (Edward) and Dr. Howard Weiner (Esther).
