With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jaycee Schroeder Sanchez (Groves, Texas), born in Port Arthur, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 46. As we bid Jaycee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jaycee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Jeannie Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband Esteban Sanchez; her father Charles Schroeder of Crystal Beach; and her siblings, Annie Lovette (Matthew) of Seabrook, Texas. and Eric Schroeder (Katie) of Groves. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Jaycee to First United Methodist Church of Groves.
