He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Struss and Irene Struss; and his brother Daniel Struss. He is survived by: his wife Laura Struss; his daughters, Nichole Clark (Ted) and April Malain (David); his grandchildren, Ella Grace Consuelo Clark, Adeline Grace Malain and Lucas John Malain; his siblings, Roger Struss and Kathryn Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Struss and Steve Wilson; and his aunts, Ruth Kroll and Carol Uden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home - Groves (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619).
