She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Sonnier, Sr. and Mary Sonnier-Romero; her husband Joseph "Buck" Chardin; her sons, Larry Chardin, Ricky Chardin, Rene Chardin, Timothy Chardin and Sheldon Chardin; her siblings, Rene Sonnier, Jr. and Gloria Lagruppe; and her granddaughter Alicia Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Osborne (Robert) of Port Neches, Judy Ables (Joe) of Austin, Betty Chardin of Groves, Mary Osborne (Roger) of Warren and David Chardin of Bastrop; her sister Linda Wilson (Darrell) of California; and her grandchildren, Brent, Terry, Tina, Dana, Jodie, Holly, Misty, Mercedes, Ricky, Christina, Sabrina, Brittney, Jessica, Kimberly, Crystal and Joshua. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
