He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Lumpkin and Jack Anderson; his siblings, Cynthia (John Gontarek) and Tommy Lumpkin; and his son Jeremy Burch.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Lange Lumpkin; his sons, Kyle Lumpkin (Caroline Dronet), Greg Lumpkin (Monique) of China, Texas and Brandon Burch (Selene) of Ridge Crest, California.; his grandchildren, Peyton, Parker Lumpkin, Seth and Skyla Burch; his brother Larry Lumpkin (Judy) of Nederland; and his sister-in-law Karen (Gary Kelly) of Rockdale, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home - Groves (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
