He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gilbert and Elizabeth Gilbert; his wife Eva Ann Gilbert; and his son Wade Lance Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Mark Roy Gilbert (Liz), Renee Marie Gilbert and Bryan Lee Gilbert; his grandchildren, Robert J. Gilbert (Loryn), Mallory E. Roebuck (Christopher) and Dawson Wade Gilbert (Harlee); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Millie Roebuck, Baby Roebuck, May and Ruby Gilbert; and his sister Eloise Zummo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Buckner Children and Family Services of Beaumont, Texas.
