She is survived by: her husband Herbert Gary, Jr.; her children, Maurice Darnell Gary and Vicki Jackson; her grandson Lintel Daughtry; her siblings, Shirley Williams, Maxie Banks, Autrey Simth, Ethelreen Smith (Danny), Jerry Thomas (Ada) and Archie Thomas (Janice); and her siblings-in-law, Andre Gary (Jennifer), Maurice Gary, Marvin Gary (Margie) and Hazel Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Groveton ISD School.
