He is survived by: his wife April Hurst of Groveton; his children, Matthew Brister of Groveton, Emily Brister of Groveton, Braydon Smith of Groveton and Scarlett Smith of Groveton; his mother Beverly Brister of Groveton; his brother Glen Brister (Christi Brister) of Groveton; and his grandchildren, Landry Brister and Tre Watts. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
