He was predeceased by : his parents, Augna English Dial and Walter Adwin Dial; his grandparents, Walter and Olivia Dial; and his sister Martha Safford.

He is survived by : his wife Ina Grace Fann Dial; his sons, Lindel (Pam Dial), Brint Dial (Theresa Gilbert) and Vance (Kelly Dial); his grandsons, Hayden Dial, Weston Dial, Brance Dial and Trampas Hensley; his great grandchildren, Kenzlee Dial, Reed Dial, Whitney Maxey, Trent Hensley, Stormie Hensley and Skylar Hensley; and his siblings, Wayne Dial and Becky Halpain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
