He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Long of Sherman, Texas; his wife Wendy Burton Long of Gunter, Texas; his children, Ryan Long (Katey) of Gunter and Nycole Trevino (Sammy) of Hendrix, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kylee Long, Shelby Parsons, Addyson Winchester and Bradley Winchester; his siblings, Ken Long (Jimmy Rust) and Nan Ingram (Terry) of Pottsboro, Texas; and his nephews, Dusty Ingram of Sherman and Darren Ingram (Erin) of Sherman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park (5805 Texoma Pkwy, Sherman, TX 75090).
