We are sad to announce that, on May 9, 2026, at the age of 79, Robert Wayne Ballard in Hale Center, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Ballard and Dortha Ballard; and his sisters, Carolyn Hicks and Sharon Seagler. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Mitzi Jett (Don), Melissa Hegwood (Brent) and Jared Leathers (Jennifer); and his brothers-in-law, Stan Seagler of Gruver and Stuart Eskew of Pritchett. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
