He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Leon" Cullar and Eula Cullar (Miller); his brother Jimmy "Dwight" Cullar; his sister-in-law Patti Cullar; his parents-in-law, John "Dennis" Koonce and Frances Koonce; his brother-in-law Michael Yarbrough (Mike); and his nephew-in-law Jim Houchin.
He is survived by: his wife Brinda Cullar (Koonce); his daughter Susan Cranfill (Allen); his granddaughter Katerina Cranfill; his son Brian Cullar (Ashley); his grandson Walker Cullar; his brother Gerald Cullar (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Jerl Koonce (Rose) and Cindy Yarbrough; and his nieces and nephews, Jared Cullar, Shawn Cullar, Brandon Cullar, Cody Cullar, Lance Yarbrough, Kendall Steinfield and LaTisha Houchin.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kubena Funeral Home (507 N Main St, Hallettsville, TX 77964). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials (in lieu of flowers): American Cancer Society or Charity of Your Choice.
