He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Butschek and Elizabeth Butschek (Henneke); his wife Loraine Mikulenka; his siblings, Alfred, Lee, Victor, William "Frank", Gilbert Butschek, Margaret and Pearline; and his son Robert "Bobby" Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Ronald of Hallettsville, Wayne (Yolanda) of Hallettsville and Karen Jansky (Kenneth) of Richmond. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
