He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jefferson Holt and Helen Lucille Holt; and his sisters, Virginia Lucille Wood and Nicki Susan Love. He is survived by: his siblings, Bille Earl Holt and Martha Jane Book; his son Sammy Lee Holt Jr.; and his grandchildren, Paisley Grace Holt and Peyton Avery Holt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
