He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermitt L. Giles and Vivian L. McCarley Giles; his former wife Jessie; his son Keith; his brothers-in-law, C. Paul Wood, Joe Pendergrass and Don Walker; and his sister Frances Wood Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Gromatsky; his children, Mark (Carla) of Hamilton, Suzi Climer (Scott) of Mesquite and Amy Jones (Steve) of Katy; and his sister Maude Ann Pendergrass of Greenville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel (402 W Main St, Hamilton, TX 76531).
