In the sacred silence of farewell, Carolyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carolyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Carroll and Alta Turner (Cocanougher); her husband Wilmar Strader; her sister Ann Benson; and her grandson Tim Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Donald (Patty Strader), Dennis (Belinda Strader), Phil (Natalie Strader), Lynn Strader of Fredericksburg and Pam (Matt Searcey). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Lunn Funeral Home (300 S Avenue M, Olney, TX 76374). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Olney (201 W Main St, Olney, TX 76374).
