He was predeceased by: his parents, George Massingill (Jack) and Evelyn Thompson Massingill; and his stepparents, Anita Massingill and Cletus Whitmire. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Curry, Brenda Schrank and Connie Jones (David); his nieces and nephews, Darren Price, Rick Price, Lance Curry, Jody Lawson, Ace Thompson, Lisa Johnson, Gina Poe and Jennifer Thompson; Ric, Frances John, Travis and Camille Beinhauer.
