He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. Thompson and Lorene Thompson; and his brother Jimmy Don Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Wooten Thompson; his daughters, Jenny Tubbs, Kate Mills, Holly Jones and Doxie Wilson; and his grandchildren, Brant, Lincoln, Preston Tubbs, Finley, Josee, Tucker, Quinn Mills, Emory, Baylor Jones, Daxton, Beckam, Ryser and Crew Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter.
