She is survived by: her children, Marcos Olvera (Colorado Springs), Julie Shields (Abilene), Ben Olvera, III (Colorado Springs), Angela and Remel Derrick (Abilene); her grandchildren, Alexis, Brett Smallwood (Colorado Springs), Anthony Olvera (Colorado Springs), Jordan Shields (Austin), Daryck Shields (Abilene), Desmond Shields (Tulsa), Breanna Redfearn-Olvera (Denton), Trista, Giovanni Luna (Denton), Emerie Olvera (Denton), Presleigh Olvera (Colorado Springs) and Caylie Olvera-Derrick (Cypress); her great grandchildren, Alli Montanez-Olvera, Addyson, Aisley and Alora Smallwood (Colorado Springs); her grandsons, Samuel Redfearn (Denton) and Simon Luna (Denton); and her siblings, Alice Perez (Hamlin), Julie Faught (Hamlin), Maria Perez, Gracie Perez (Hamlin) and Thomas Perez (Haskell). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home (505 NW 5th St, Hamlin, TX 79520). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (217 SW Ave B, Hamlin, TX 79520).
