He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jill Bell; his daughter Maggie Curington (Eric Gardner); his grandsons, Henry and Jack Curington; his son David Bell (Megan); his grandsons, Brady and Bryan Bell; his brother Doyle Bell; his daughter Shauna Martin (Greg); his grandchildren, Ryan Martin (Emily), Samantha Martin and Ashley Bell; and his great grandchild Sierra Bell.
He was a member of the Hamlin School Board for nine years, served on the Jones County Appraisal Board, the Industrial Foundation Board, the Housing Authority, the Cemetery Association, and the Hamlin Golf Course board.
