It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene J. Morris of Harleton, Texas, born in Linden, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Stalcup Jaynes; her sons, Randall Keith Morris and Jeffrey Dean Morris (AJ); and her siblings, Jo Ella Story, Frieda Kay Story, Bobbie Mae Berryman, Orval Allen Jaynes, William Thomas Jaynes and Lloyd O'Neal Jaynes.
She is survived by: her mother Mary John Jaynes Duncan; her spouse AJ Morris; her son Larry Joe Morris (LouAnn); her daughter-in-law Genia Morris; her grandchildren, Loren Hairgrove, Ashley Upton, Amy Wilson and Amanda Smith; her great grandchildren, Logan Wilson and Laney Wilson; and her sister Mable Ruth Ball (E. W. "Buzzy").
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to Harleton Elementary School library or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
