He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose D. Galvan and Elodia Galvan; his siblings, Jose Galvan, Ralph Galvan, Homero Galvan, Francisca Galvan, Consuelo Villareal and Hortencia Resendez; and his grandson Jake Galvan.
He is survived by: his wife Maria S. Galvan; his children, Alfredo Galvan, Jr. (Julie), Ricardo Galvan, Raul Galvan (Girley) and Maria De Lourdes Galvan; his sister Aida Leston; his brother-in-law Refugio Resendez; and his caregivers, Rosa Curiel, Diana Mata, Emily Salazar, Gloria Alvarez and Gracie Delgado. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
