He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo D. Galvan and Guadalupe Chamberlain (Lupita); his wife Irene; his brother Albert; and his stepson Charles.
He is survived by: his family, Josephine Olvera (Gama), Dolores Cuellar (Martin), Melva Galvan, Belinda Rankin (Randy), Aida Gonzalez (David), Andreina Galvan, Arminda Brooks (Bud) and Arnold Galvan (Dora); and his stepdaughter Phyllis Mabus. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
