It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Armando Villegas of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto S. Villegas and Benita R. Villegas; and his mother-in-law Guadalupe R. Cantu. He is survived by: his siblings, Alberto Junior Villegas (Beto), Silvia Vidal Villegas, Elia Gomez, Dolia Longoria and Diana Villegas; his nieces, Alma Alicia Villegas, Veronica Villegas and Monica Villegas; his granddaughter Mia A. Villegas; his wife Cristina G. Villegas; and his children, Annabel Villegas, Armando Villegas Jr., Andrew "Andy" Villegas Sr. and Erik Villegas (Yvonne). He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
