He was predeceased by: his parents, Apolonio Perez and Francisca Hernandez Perez; and his brothers, Guillermo Perez (Perez) and Eduardo Perez. He is survived by: his wife Nora Pulido; and his children, Elva Alicia Cordova, Gamaliel Perez, Jr., Irene Perez, Adriana Perez, Orlando Elizondo, Flor Elizondo and Alan Mancilla. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
