He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Luna; and his daughter Margaret Luna Malacara. He is survived by: his children, Manuel Luna, Jr. (Frances), Lynol Luna (Norma), Jose Carlos Luna (Ruby), Rolando Luna, Daniel Luna (Melissa), Ida Luna (Carlos Gamez), Migdalia Rodriguez (Chris) and Miereyda Cruz (Pete). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
