We are sad to announce that, on July 11, 2024, at the age of 88, Mitzi Cestero of Harlingen, Texas, born in Donna, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Solis Sr. and Manuela Mercado Solis; her daughter Julienna Esther Cestero; and her siblings, Argentina Solis, Catalina Solis, Alicia S. Diaz, Noel H. Solis and Leopoldo Solis Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Cestero D'Souza (Dinesh) and A. J. Cestero (Mari); her grandchildren, Justin, Julienna Fancher and Danielle D'Souza Gill (Brandon); her great grandchild Marigold Gill; and her siblings, Carlos Solis (Bea), David Solis (Mary Helen) and Karen S. Martinez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
