He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garza and Noelia Garza; and his brother Joel Manuel Garza. He is survived by: his daughters, Annette Garza-Ybarra (Jay Ybarra), Jessica Garza-Alvarez (Jorge Alvarez) and Tamar Garza (Jesus Tamayo III). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home & Crematorium (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Benito Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
