He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Graciela Perales Pérez of Harlingen; his children, Analicia Pérez Belmares (Eugenio "Gene") and Araceli Pérez Carreón (Joseph); the mother of his children Dora Magaña Perez; his children, Ramiro "Miro" Pérez, Jr. (Rose), Maria Teresa "Terri" Perez and Elma Odilia Pérez Alvarado (Donato); his stepson Brian Sheffield (Jerrica); the mother of his children Carmela Andrews Rodriguez; his parents, Maria Teresa Castillo and Remigio Perez; Frankie Sheffield. He was also cherished by twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
