He is survived by: his wife Blanca Gonzalez; his children, Victor Castillo (Amy), Sara Lembke (Jeff), Rachel Evans (Kyle), Jessica Farthing (Daniel) and Christina Lawson (Lonnie); his stepson John David "JD" Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Holden, Brooks, Maddox, Carter, Ellie, Mia, Olivia and Scott; his stepgrandson Isaiah Gonzalez; and his siblings, Raul Castillo (Isabel), Evila Gonzales (Reynaldo) and Robert Castillo (Roselia).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1509 New Combes Hwy, Harlingen, TX 78550).
