He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dorritie and Anna Dorritie (Magagnous). He is survived by: his wife Linda Dorritie; and his sister Ann McGivney of Highland Lakes. He is also survived by his four children, grandchildren and great grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; other relatives and many dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Fort Sam National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
