Roland Deike Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Deike Sr. of Harper, Texas, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Deike and Frances Triesch Deike; his wife Paula Daugherty; and his siblings, Alton Deike, Clinton Deike, Marvin "Fritz" Deike, Adolf Deike, Helen Ruth Snyder and Victoria Hildebrand.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Mulhern of San Antonio, Rebecca (Wayne Fortin) and Roland (Laura Deike, Jr.); his siblings, Lawrence Deike of Fredericksburg and Dorothy Mae Jenschke of Harper; and his sister-in-law Marlene Deike (Fritz) of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be given in Roland's name to St. James Lutheran Church, or to the charity of your choice.
