He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Morris and Ella Morris; his son Tommy Morris; his siblings, Lena Jackson, Rosie Nell Chase, Annie Mae Brenem, Joyce Doan, Larry Morris, David Morris, Stanley Morris, Doris Jean Holte, Brenda Boyd and Alice "Bugsy" Chacon; and his friend Wanda Turnbow.
He is survived by: his friend Bud Turnbow; his wife Kazuko "Kay" Morris of Haskell; his daughters, Debra Bartley (Michael) of Haskell and Tina Lamb (Billy) of Haskell; his grandchildren, Brittany Williams (Chris) of Haskell, Chambray Bartley (Amber) of Stamford and Cannon Edwards of Abilene; his great grandchildren, Creed Williams of Haskell, Clyne Williams of Haskell, Calvaree Williams of Haskell and Coven Jones of Stamford; his grandchildren, Cassie Aaron (Cody) of Nugent and Hegan Lamb (Robin) of Mineral Wells; his great grandchildren, Shadixx Agraz and Hendrixx Agraz of Stamford; and his brother Gary Lynn Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (304 N 2nd St, Haskell, TX 79521). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 N Ave E, Haskell, TX 79521). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Willow Cemetery (914 S 7th St, Haskell, TX 79521).
