With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Curtis Darden (Haskell, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard (JR) and Mary Frances Rodges Darden (Molly); his siblings, Clarence, Orville, Clifford, Glenn, Viola Brueggeman and Margaret Bird; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmie Darden, Lewis Brueggeman and Wallace Bird.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Blair; his children, Lori Hill (Andy Hill) of Gardendale and Kyle Darden (Michael Sanseviro) of Kennesaw, Georgia; his granddaughters, Laurel Skonberg (John Skonberg) and Mollie Clay (Zeke Clay); and his great grandchildren, Ainsley Hill and Mayzie Jo Clay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Curtis' name to the Hospice of Abilene.
