He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Grant (Abston) and Clifton Grant; his wife Joann Grant; and his siblings, Wanda Grant Phipps, Evelyn Grant, Lucille Grant Jennings, Myrtle Grant Large (Dink), Burnidean Grant Callaway and Bill Grant.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Grant and Jerry Grant (Marcia); his grandchildren, Erik Grant (Joann), Rachel Grant and Staci Rocha (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Penelope Grace Rocha, Giselle Marie Rocha, Peyton Ryan Grant and Jonathan Jett Grant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Side Baptist Church (600 N 1st St, Haskell, TX 79521).
