Stacy D'Lynn Taylor Obituary
We announce the death of Stacy D'Lynn Taylor (Haskell, Texas), who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 54. Stacy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Merchant and Deborah "Debbie" Gayle Medford Merchant; and her husband Gregory "Greg" Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Rusty Rogers (Cynthia) of Haskell and Kelsey Decker (Shawn) of Midland; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Eoghan Rogers, Bentley and Brantley Decker; her brother Alan Merchant (Crystal) of Abilene; her niece Samantha Seidensticker (Michael) of Abilene; and her nephew Dillon Mathes (Mia) of Abilene. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Haskell Funeral Home (2 Ave D, Haskell, TX 79521). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Howard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses. Donations may be made to the designated account at Haskell National Bank c/o Stacy Taylor Fund or directly to Haskell Funeral Home.
