He was predeceased by : his son Douglas Broyles; his parents, Francis Broyles and Juanita Broyles; his brother Larry Broyles; and his grandson Chase Chambless.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; his children, Dan Broyles, Stonya Losco (Richard), Richard Vu (Kim), Tim Ayers (Christie) and Adam Broyles (Andrea); and his brother Rudy Broyles (Sue). He is also survived by 13 grand-children and one great grandson.
