He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dyer and Freda Dykes Dyer; and his siblings, Mary Jean Dyer Calvert, Francis Dyer Thomas (Thomas), Edgar Dyer (Billy Max Dyer) and Wanda Dyer Marlin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hughes Dyer; his children, Daryl Dyer (Shannon), Dawn Dyer Rhodes (Duane), Robert Dyer, Laura Cranford, Tammi McLaughlin (Sandra Rankin) and Jeremy McLaughlin; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Ann Dyer, Tim Marlin, Gary Hughes and Sharon Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
