He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis and Retta Lou Eakin (Moles); his wife Mary Ann Hollowell-Eakin; and his stepmother Bobbie Eakin. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Jordan and Dan (Denise Eakin); his stepsiblings, Bobbie (Greg Dove), Neal, Dino Cox and Gary Cox; and his stepchildren, Monica (Ron Sommers), Michael Truesdell and Jordan Seaver. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marvin's name to Dierksen Hospice.
