He is survived by: his wife Kathi Bland; his sons, Brandon Bland of Trent and Dee Bland (Jill); his grandchildren, Tawnee, Wacee and Teegan of Anson; his daughter Kaci Murphy (Justin); his grandson Jace; his mother Rosemary Bland Hayter; his sister Becky; his brother-in-law Terry Brown; his siblings, Diltzie Edmondson and John Bland (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Kathy Jones. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Medical Center of Dallas, as Rex was especially grateful for the care they provided for Wacee.
