With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Ford Hooper of Hearne, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. W. and Nannie Ford Hooper of Normangee; his wife Frances; and his siblings, Kal Hooper and Eula Mae Marino.
He is survived by: his children, Lauren Michelle and James Hooper (Judy); his grandchildren, Ben Hooper (Amber), Whitney Hooper and Jared Martin (Mysti); his great grandchildren, Emersyn and Aiden Hooper; his sister Mary Jo Patterson (James David); and his sister-in-law Linda Hooper. He is also survived by numerous nephews & nieces, and several other relatives.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
