Helen Joan Widner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Joan Widner of Helotes, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olien Chernosky and Elfreide Chernosky (Kloth); her husband John Adolf Widner; and her siblings, Raymond Chernosky, Dorothy Shade and Joyce Cannon.
She is survived by: her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Lisa of Bandera; her son Bill; her daughter-in-law Corinne of Stuart; her son Mike of Helotes; her grandchildren, Stacy, Kirby, Jennifer, John, Will, Dana and Violet; her great grandchildren, Carter and Kase; her sister Nancy Ralston; her sister-in-law Barbara Chernosky; and her in-laws, Cecil and Corrine Widner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
