“Dr. Jim Cox was a complicated and unique man. He had a lot of interests. He spoke often of his love for his grown children, and his granddaughter. He cried during the televised recovery efforts during earthquakes in China, where many children were lost. He said it was the first time he was able to grieve the loss of his very young son, Gabriel, many years earlier. Dr. Cox walked his own path. He could be counted on to help allow difficult disability cases, others avoided. Godspeed, Dr. Cox.”
