With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruben Candia (Helotes, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Herlinda; his parents, Longino and Victoria; and his brothers, Longino, Jr., Luis, Pablo, Roberto and Ramon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jose Longino, Armando, Rosa, Maria and Celia; his children, John, Bruce and Ruth; his grandchildren, Renee and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Camden and Makenna. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (13715 Riggs Rd, San Antonio, TX 78023). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
